Blink Application for Slack

Blink is a platform that enables you to automate your daily work. A Workflow is created using actions that integrate with a wide variety of cloud services. This application for Slack enables you to connect each Workflow you create in the Blink Self-Service portal to your Slack workspace.

Creating Slack Connection

A connection can be created from the Connections page or from the Workflow Editor page.

Creating a new connection from the connections screen:

  1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the Connections page > Add connection. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
  2. Select the Slack icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appears.
  3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
  4. Select which method to make the connection. The recommended method appears the blue button. The method can be changed later by editing your connection.

For more information, refer to Creating a Slack connection.
