Redshift Data List Databases - BlinkOps Documentation

List the names of the databases visible from a Redshift cluster or Serverless workgroup. Note: Database is the database the Data API connects through in order to run the listing - it is required, and it is not a filter. Every cluster and workgroup is created with a dev database, which is the usual value to use here. Results are paginated. When the response contains a NextToken, run the action again with that value in Next Token to fetch the next page.

Basic Parameters

Parameter	Description
AWS Region	The AWS Region of the Redshift cluster or Serverless workgroup.
Cluster Identifier	The identifier of the provisioned Redshift cluster to connect to. Required when connecting to a cluster. Leave empty when connecting to a Redshift Serverless workgroup.
Database	The name of the database to connect through in order to run the listing. This is not a filter - the response lists every database visible from this connection.
Database User	The database user name to connect as. Only relevant when connecting to a provisioned cluster as a database user using temporary credentials.
Max Results	The maximum number of databases to return in a single response. Valid values range from `0` to `1000`.
Next Token	The pagination token for fetching the next page of records, taken from the `NextToken` field of a previous response. Leave empty to fetch the first page.
Secret ARN	The name or ARN of the AWS Secrets Manager secret holding the `username` and `password` of the database user. Required when authenticating with Secrets Manager. Leave empty to authenticate with temporary credentials derived from the connection’s IAM identity.
Workgroup Name	The Redshift Serverless workgroup name or ARN to connect to. Required when connecting to a serverless workgroup. Leave empty when connecting to a provisioned cluster.

Disable XML To JSON Auto Convert	When checked, XML responses are not automatically converted into JSON format.
