Update the name, type, and settings of a specific channel that the user owns or administers.

Basic Parameters

Parameter	Description
Add Member Permission	Indicates who can add new channel members. Note: * Only the channel owner can modify this setting. * This setting is always set to `All channel members` and not editable for `public` channels.
Allow New Members To Observe Previous Messages	Select to allow new channel members to view messages and files previously posted in the channel.
Channel ID	The channel’s unique identifier.
Name	A new name for the channel.
Type	Assign a new type for the channel. For more information regarding the channel types, refer to Zoom’s Documentation
User ID	The unique identifier of the user who is the administrator of the channel. For user-level apps, pass `me` instead of the user ID.

Advanced Parameters

Parameter	Description
Designated Posting Members	The user IDs or member IDs of the channel members to whom posting permission was granted. Example: `[ { “user_id”: “alsjdflasjfasjfas” } ]` For more information, refer to Zoom’s Documentation
Mention All Permission	Indicate who can use `@all`. Note: Only the channel owner can modify this setting.
