Update A Channel
Update the name, type, and settings of a specific channel that the user owns or administers.

Basic Parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Add Member Permission | Indicates who can add new channel members. Note: * Only the channel owner can modify this setting. * This setting is always set to All channel members and not editable for public channels. |
Allow New Members To Observe Previous Messages | Select to allow new channel members to view messages and files previously posted in the channel. |
Channel ID | The channel’s unique identifier. |
Name | A new name for the channel. |
Type | Assign a new type for the channel. For more information regarding the channel types, refer to Zoom’s Documentation |
User ID | The unique identifier of the user who is the administrator of the channel. For user-level apps, pass me instead of the user ID. |

Mention All Permission | Indicate who can use @all .Note: Only the channel owner can modify this setting. |
