Basic Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Add Member Permission | Indicates who can add new channel members. Note: * Only the channel owner can modify this setting. * This setting is always set to All channel members and not editable for public channels. |
| Allow New Members To Observe Previous Messages | Select to allow new channel members to view messages and files previously posted in the channel. |
| Channel ID | The channel’s unique identifier. |
| Name | A new name for the channel. |
| Type | Assign a new type for the channel. For more information regarding the channel types, refer to Zoom’s Documentation |
| User ID | The unique identifier of the user who is the administrator of the channel. For user-level apps, pass me instead of the user ID. |

| Designated Posting Members | The user IDs or member IDs of the channel members to whom posting permission was granted. Example: |
