Basic Parameters

ParameterDescription
Add Member PermissionIndicates who can add new channel members. Note: * Only the channel owner can modify this setting. * This setting is always set to All channel members and not editable for public channels.
Allow New Members To Observe Previous MessagesSelect to allow new channel members to view messages and files previously posted in the channel.
Channel IDThe channel’s unique identifier.
NameA new name for the channel.
TypeAssign a new type for the channel. For more information regarding the channel types, refer to Zoom’s Documentation
User IDThe unique identifier of the user who is the administrator of the channel. For user-level apps, pass me instead of the user ID.
