Druva Druva

Druva provides cloud-based data protection and management solutions. Druva's platform offers features such as data backup, disaster recovery, and data archiving. Druva can be used to protect a wide range of data sources, including physical servers, virtual machines, and cloud applications. The platform also provides features for data governance, compliance, and security.

Creating a Druva connection

Using Client Registration

To create the connection you need:

  • A Client ID
  • A Client Secret

Obtaining the credentials

  1. Log in with your Druva account.

  2. Click on the menu button in the top left corner.

  3. Click on Druva Cloud Settings.

  4. Navigate to API Credentials on the left-hand panel and click the New Credentials Button.

  5. Give a name and a description to the credentials and click on Save.

  6. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

Creating your connection

  1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the Connections page > Add connection. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
  2. Select the Druva icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.
  3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
  4. Select Client Registration as the method to create the connection.
  5. Fill in the parameters:
    • The Client ID
    • The Client Secret
  6. (Optional) Click Test Connection to test it.
  7. Click Create connection. The new connection appears on the Connections page.
