Atlassian User Provisioning
Atlassian User Provisioning automates managing users and groups in your Atlassian products (like Jira and Confluence) by syncing them with an external identity provider like Okta or Azure AD.
Creating an Atlassian User Provisioning connection
Using SCIM API Key
To create the connection you need:
- A SCIM API Key
- A SCIM Directory ID
Obtaining the credentials
From the top menu, navigate to Security
Select Identity providers from the left-hand panel and choose the relevent Directory.
Click the three dots menu located under the User Provisioning section.
Select Regenerate API key.
Creating your connection
- In the Blink platform, navigate to the Connections page > Add connection. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
- Select the Atlassian User Provisioning icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.
- (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
- Select SCIM API Key as the method to create the connection.
- Fill in the parameters:
- The SCIM API Key
- The SCIM Directory ID
- (Optional) Click Test Connection to test it.
- Click Create connection. The new connection appears on the Connections page.
