Move or Copy Workflows

You can move or copy a workflow to a different pack within the same workspace or to different workspace, making it easy to organize and manage your workflows.

Move/Copy Workflows to a Pack in the Same Workspace

  1. Click on the three dots Thumbnail button in the top-right corner of the workflow and select the move/copy option.

  1. The move/copy wizard will open. In this step, select the target workspace (in this use case example, it remains the same workspace). Then, choose the target pack and decide whether to Copy or Move the workflow.

  1. Include Subflows (if applicable)- If the workflow includes subflows, you can check the box to include them when copying or moving the workflow. Leaving this box unchecked will exclude the subflows from the target pack.

Move/Copy a Workflow to a Pack in a Different Workspace

If you are moving or copying the selected workflow to a differenct pack in a different workspace, you are requited to complete additional steps.

  1. Click on the three dots Thumbnail button in the top-right corner of the workflow and select the move/copy option.

  1. The move/copy wizard will open. In this step, select the target workspace (in this use case example, a different workspace is selected). Then, choose the target pack and decide whether to move or copy the selected workflow.

  1. If your workflow contains Subflow(s) they will be moved/copied with their parent workflow. In this step, you can review the workflows's Subflow(s).

    • If the selected workflow's name already exists in the target workspace, create a new name, if a subflow with the same name exists in the target workspace you can either rename it or use the one in the target workspace.

      Subflow(s) will be moved/copied to the same pack as their parent workflows, regardless of their location in the origin workspace. If the Subflow(s) were in different pack(s) in the original workspace, after copying or moving to the new target workspace, they will all be in the same pack as the main workflows.

  2. Set the connections: For each connection used by the selected workflow, set a connections in the target workplace, that will replace it in the copied/moved workflow.

  • If you don't have any connections to configure at this stage, as shown in the following example, you can proceed to the next step.

  1. Choose the activation status of the moved/copied workflow in the target Workspace. You have two options: you can either Activate all Workflows by clicking the toggle button next to this option or you can activate specific workflows by toggling the button next to each one individually. The moved/copied Subflow will be always be activated in the target Workspace.

  1. Decide whether you want to share the move/copy workflow on the self-sharing portal by toggling the button.

Please note that you can share the move/copy workflow on the self-sharing portal, only if you set the workflow as Active in the previous step.

  1. To complete the process, simply click the "Finish" button located in the bottom-right corner. An operation-result popup will then appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen confirming that the workflow has been copied or moved successfully.
