# Action Output Tools

> Tools for manipulating steps when the output is returned in a JSON Format

If the output of a Step is returned in JSON format, you can manipulate the results using the following tools:

### <Icon icon="expand" iconType="solid" size="22" /> Expand

Expand all the JSON keys and values for a fully-open view.

### <Icon icon="arrows-to-line" iconType="solid" size="22" />  Collapse

Collapse all the JSON keys and values up to the most top-level key.

### <Icon icon="copy" iconType="solid" size="22" />  Copy

Copy the JSON object to the clipboard.

### <Icon icon="magnifying-glass" iconType="solid" size="22" />  Search

Search for something specific within the JSON object.
