# Add Reputation Entry

Add a reputation entry to the SMS Reputation Database.

  | IP        | The `IPv4` or `IPv6` address of the reputation entry to add.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    |
  | Tag Data  | A comma-separated list of tag category and value pairs to associate with the entry, in the format `TagCategory,Value,TagCategory,Value`.<br /><br />**Notes:**<br />\* Any tag category used must already exist on the SMS, and its value must be `UTF-8` encoded.<br />\* For a `LIST` tag category that allows multiple values, separate the values with `~~~`. For example: `MalwareIpType,malwareSource~~~cncHost`.<br />\* Enclose any value that contains a comma in double quotes. For example: `MalwareIpType,infectedHost,CreatedDate,"Jan 22, 2014"`. |
