# Launch Scan

Launches a scan. For more information, see [Launch a Scan](https://developer.tenable.com/docs/launch-scan-tio). Requires SCAN OPERATOR \[24] user permissions and CAN EXECUTE \[32] scan permissions. See [Permissions](https://developer.tenable.com/docs/permissions).

## Parameters

  | Scan ID   | The unique identifier for the scan you want to launch. Can be retrieved from the 'Create Scan' action. |
