# Post Comment On An Alert

Post a comment on an alert.
**Note:**
The following permission is required:

* `SIC_WRITE_ALERTS_COMMENTS` (341436f9-1c33-4cf7-bec3-a6955133ea04).

## Parameters

  | Parameter  | Description                                                               |
  | ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Alert UUID | The UUID of the alert. Can be obtained by using the `List Alerts` action. |
  | Author     | The author of the comment. Must be less than 32 characters.               |
  | Content    | The content of the comment to post.                                       |
