# Seemplicity

> Seemplicity provides a platform that streamlines and automates security vulnerability remediation by aggregating findings from various security tools and orchestrating the fixing process.

## Creating a Seemplicity connection

### Using API Token

To create the connection you need:

* An API Token
* A Region

#### Obtaining the credentials

1. From Seemplicity's top menu bar, go to **Settings** > **Authentication - API Tokens**.
2. Select **+ Add API Token**, The API Token dialog displays.
3. Enter a **Name** and select **Create**.
4. Copy the generated token and copy it (The API Token).
5. If you access [https://app.seemplicity.io](https://app.seemplicity.io), enter EU as your **Region**. If you access [https://app.us.seemplicity.io](https://app.us.seemplicity.io), enter US as your **Region**.

#### Creating your connection

1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the **Connections** page > **Add connection**. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
2. Select the **Seemplicity** icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.
3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
4. Select **API Token** as the method to create the connection.
5. Fill in the parameters:
   * The API Token
   * The Region
6. (Optional) Click **Test Connection** to test it.
7. Click **Create connection**. The new connection appears on the **Connections** page.
