# Rootly Webhook Event

Rootly outgoing webhooks allow you to receive real-time event notifications as incidents, alerts, pulses, retrospectives, and workflow runs progress through their lifecycles.

To configure an endpoint, go to **Settings** > **Webhooks** > **New Webhook** in Rootly, enter the URL of this trigger as the destination URL, and select the event types to subscribe to. Leaving the event types list empty subscribes the endpoint to **all** events.
