# Rippling

## Creating a Rippling connection[​](#creating-a-rippling-connection "Direct link to Creating a Rippling connection")

To create the connection you need:

* An API key

1. [Log in to Rippling](https://app.rippling.com/login) as an admin for your organization.

2. Select **Company Settings**.

3. Navigate to [**API Access**](https://app.rippling.com/company-settings/api-access).

4. Click **Create API Key**.

5. Provide the scopes and description of your API key.

6. Click **Save**.

#### Viewing your Rippling API keys[​](#viewing-your-rippling-api-keys "Direct link to Viewing your Rippling API keys")

1. [Log in to Rippling ](https://app.rippling.com/login)as an admin for your organization.
2. Select **Company Settings**.
3. Navigate to [**API Access**](https://app.rippling.com/company-settings/api-access).

You can copy or delete your API keys as desired.

### Creating your connection[​](#creating-your-connection "Direct link to Creating your connection")

1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the **Connections** page > **Add connection**. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
2. Select the **Rippling** icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appears.
3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
4. Select **API Key** as the method to create the connection.
5. Fill in the parameters:
   * The API key
6. (Optional) Click **Test Connection** to test it.
7. Click **Create connection**. The new connection appears on the **Connections** page.
