# Update Scan Engine

Updates the specified scan engine.

## Parameters

  | Parameter               | Description                                                                                                                                                                                                               |
  | ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Disable SSL Enforcement | Enable this option to skip SSL verification of the server's certificate<br />chain and host name. This may increase security vulnerabilities, but can be useful<br />for testing or when custom verification is employed. |
  | Scan Engine Address     | The address the scan engine is hosted.                                                                                                                                                                                    |
  | Scan Engine ID          | The ID of the scan engine.                                                                                                                                                                                                |
  | Scan Engine Name        | The name of the scan engine.                                                                                                                                                                                              |
  | Scan Engine Port        | The port used by the scan engine to communicate with the Security Console.                                                                                                                                                |
