# Oort

> Oort is an identity threat detection and response platform for enterprise security.

## Creating an Oort connection

### Using Access Token

To create the connection you need:

* An Oort Domain
* A Client ID
* A Client Secret
* An API Audience

#### Obtaining the credentials

1. Sign in to **Cisco Identity Intelligence**.
2. From the Integrations tab, click **Add Integration**.
3. Scroll down and click **Add API Client**.
4. Provide a **Name** and **Description**.
5. Click **Save and generate credentials**.
6. Click **Copy all** to copy the credentials to your clipboard.

#### Creating your connection

1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the **Connections** page > **Add connection**. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
2. Select the **Oort** icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.
3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
4. Select **Access Token** as the method to create the connection.
5. Fill in the parameters:
   * The Oort Domain
   * The Client ID
   * The Client Secret
   * The API Audience
6. (Optional) Click **Test Connection** to test it.
7. Click **Create connection**. The new connection appears on the **Connections** page.
