# Generate MFA Token

Generate a temporary MFA token that can be used in place of other MFA tokens for a set time period.

**Required Scope**: `Manage users` or `Manage All`.

## Parameters

  | Parameter  | Description                                                                                                                                          |
  | ---------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Expires In | The duration of the token in seconds.<br /><br />Defaults to `259200` seconds (72 hours). Valid range is `120`-`259200`.                             |
  | Reusable   | Select to allow the token to be used multiple times within the expiry window.<br /><br />When not selected, the token is invalid after a single use. |
  | User ID    | The ID of the user.                                                                                                                                  |
