# Add Group Member

Add a group member to a given group. You must insert either `Email Address` or `Domain` to add to the group.

Required application permissions: `Directories | Groups | Edit`.

## Parameters

  | Parameter     | Description                                                                                             |
  | ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Domain        | A domain to add to a group.                                                                             |
  | Email Address | The email address of a user to add to a group.                                                          |
  | Group ID      | The Mimecast ID of the group to add to.                                                                 |
  | Notes         | The notes required to be linked to the group. The length of the notes must be less than 100 characters. |
  | Type          | Select between `Email Address` and `Domain` to add to the group.                                        |
