# Estimate Statistics

Run an estimate of the number of emails and documents in an e-Discovery search. The `Location` response header contains the operation ID used to poll its status with the `Get Case Operation` action.

* **Least privileged** Microsoft Graph permission to access the action via **application**: `eDiscovery.Read.All`.
* **Higher privileged** Microsoft Graph permission to access the action via **application**: `eDiscovery.ReadWrite.All`.

## Parameters

  | Case ID            | The e-Discovery case ID. Can be obtained by using the `List Cases` action.                                                                                              |
  | Search ID          | The e-Discovery search ID of the search to retrieve.                                                                                                                    |
  | Statistics Options | The statistics to generate.<br /><br />**Note:** The `advancedIndexing` and `locationsWithoutHits` values are only considered when `includeUnindexedStats` is selected. |
