# KnowBe4

To create the connection you need:

* An API Address
* An API Key

Your base URL depending on where your KnowBe4 account is located.

* Accounts on the US server (located at [training.knowbe4.com](https://training.knowbe4.com/)) must use the Base URL of `https://us.api.knowbe4.com`.
* Accounts on the EU server (located at [eu.knowbe4.com](https://eu.knowbe4.com/)) must use `https://eu.api.knowbe4.com`.
* Accounts on the CA server (located at [ca.knowbe4.com](https://ca.knowbe4.com/)) must use `https://ca.api.knowbe4.com`.
* Accounts on the UK server (located at [uk.knowbe4.com](https://uk.knowbe4.com/)) must use `https://uk.api.knowbe4.com`.
* Accounts on the DE server (located at [de.knowbe4.com](https://de.knowbe4.com/)) must use `https://de.api.knowbe4.com`.

Follow the [KnowBe4 documentation](https://developer.knowbe4.com/rest/reporting#tag/Authentication) on how to obtain the API key.

### Creating your connection[​](#creating-your-connection "Direct link to Creating your connection")

1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the **Connections** page > **Add connection**. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.

2. Select the **KnowBe4** icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.

3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.

4. Select **API Key** as the method to create the connection.

5. Fill in the parameters:

   * The API Address
   * The API Key

6. (Optional) Click **Test Connection** to test it.

7. Click **Create connection**. The new connection appears on the **Connections** page.
