# KnowBe4 Events

> Knowbe4 events allows you to push your users security-related events or training activities from external sources and push them into/pull them from your KMSAT console.

To create the connection you need:

* An Events API Address
* An Events API Key

Your base URL depending on where your KnowBe4 account is located.

* Accounts on the US server (located at training.knowbe4.com) must use the Base URL of `https://api.events.knowbe4.com/`.
* Accounts on the EU server (located at eu.knowbe4.com) must use `https://api-eu.events.knowbe4.com/`.
* Accounts on the CA server (located at ca.knowbe4.com) must use `https://api-ca.events.knowbe4.com`.
* Accounts on the UK server (located at uk.knowbe4.com) must use `https://api-uk.events.knowbe4.com`.
* Accounts on the DE server (located at de.knowbe4.com) must use `https://api-de.events.knowbe4.com`.

### Creating your connection[​](#creating-your-connection "Direct link to Creating your connection")

1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the **Connections** page > **Add connection**. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.

2. Select the **KnowBe4 Events** icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.

3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.

4. Select **API Key** as the method to create the connection.

5. Fill in the parameters:

   * The Events API Address
   * The Events API Key

6. (Optional) Click **Test Connection** to test it.

7. Click **Create connection**. The new connection appears on the **Connections** page.
