Log in to Jira. 2. Click on [Atlassian](https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens) to create an API token. For a detailed explanation on how to create the API token, click [here](#creating-an-api-token). 3. Click **Create API token**. Untitled 4. Name your token and click **Create**. Click **Security**. Untitled 3. Go to **Create and manage API tokens**. Untitled #### Creating your connection[​](#creating-your-connection "Direct link to Creating your connection") 1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the **Connections** page > **Add connection**. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available. 2. Select the **Jira** icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appears. 3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name. 4. Select **API Token** as the method to make the connection. 5. Fill in the parameters: * The API address. This is the fully qualified name of your Jira workspace, without any pathname * The API token * The user email 6. (Optional) Click **Test Connection** to test it. 7. Click **Create connection**.
