# Update User

Update a specified user by applying one or more SCIM patch operations.

**Required OAuth scope:** `scim.users.updateUsers`

## Parameters

  | Excluded Attributes | A comma-separated list of attributes to exclude from the user in the response. |
  | Operations | The SCIM patch operations to apply to the user, as a JSON array of objects. Each operation supports the following fields:<br /><br />\* `op` — **Required**. The operation to perform, which must be `add`, `remove`, or `replace`.<br />\* `path` — **Required**. The attribute to change, for example `title`, `name.givenName`, or `name.familyName`.<br />\* `value` — The value to set the attribute to. The `remove` operation does not take it.<br /><br />**For example:**<br /><pre><code>\[<br />  \{<br />    "op": "replace",<br />    "path": "title",<br />    "value": "Vice President"<br />  },<br />  \{<br />    "op": "replace",<br />    "path": "name.givenName",<br />    "value": "Alex"<br />  }<br />]</code></pre> |
  | Schemas | A comma-separated list of the SCIM schemas that the request conforms to.<br /><br />**For Example**: `urn:ietf:params:scim:api:messages:2.0:PatchOp` |
  | User ID | The ID of the user. You can get user IDs using the `List Users` action. |
