# Update Task

Updates an existing task with new values. User must have the `task.update` scope.

## Parameters

  | Parameter      | Description                                                                          |
  | -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
  | Assignee ID    | The unique identifier of the assignee of the task.                                   |
  | Description    | The description of the task.                                                         |
  | Due Date       | The due date of the task.                                                            |
  | Priority       | The priority of the task.                                                            |
  | Sort Order     | The sort order of the task.                                                          |
  | Target ID      | The unique identifier of the target.                                                 |
  | Target Type    | The type of the target.                                                              |
  | Task ID        | The unique identifier of the task. Can be obtained by using the `List Tasks` action. |
  | Task Status ID | The status id of the task.                                                           |
  | Title          | The title of the task.                                                               |
