# Request Approval

Request an approval on a ticket.

## Basic Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| Agent ID | The ID of the agent who should approve the request. Can be obtained from the `List Agents` action. **Note**: Either `Email Address`, `Agent ID`, or `User ID` is required. |
| Email Address | The email address of the approver, when the approver is not a Halo agent or end user. **Note**: Either `Email Address`, `Agent ID`, or `User ID` is required. |
| Seq | The sequence number of this approval step. |
| Ticket ID | The ID of the ticket. Can be obtained from the `List Tickets` action. |
| User ID | The ID of the end user who should approve the request. **Note**: Either `Email Address`, `Agent ID`, or `User ID` is required. |

## Advanced Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| Approval Process ID | The ID of the approval process to use. |
| Step ID | The ID of the approval step. |
| Step Name | The name of the approval step. |
