# Create Webhook

Register an outbound webhook in Halo ITSM that calls a URL, such as a Blink `Custom Webhook` trigger, when a matching event occurs.

## Basic Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| Active | Select to enable the webhook immediately. |
| Name | The name of the webhook. |
| Payload URL | The URL Halo calls when the webhook fires, for example a Blink `Custom Webhook` trigger's URL. |

## Advanced Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| Authentication Type | The authentication Halo uses when calling the payload URL, as an integer code. |
| Basic Password | The password to send, when `authentication_type` is set to basic authentication. |
| Basic Username | The username to send, when `authentication_type` is set to basic authentication. |
| Content Type | The `Content-Type` header Halo sends with the webhook request. |
| Events | The events that trigger this webhook, as a JSON array of Halo notification profile objects. |
| Method | The HTTP method Halo uses to call the payload URL, as an integer code. |
| Payload Type | The shape of the payload Halo sends, as an integer code. |
| Type | The webhook type, as an integer code. |
