# Upload External Evidence Document

Upload external evidence to map to a control.

## Basic Parameters

  | Parameter             | Description                                                                                        |
  | --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Control ID            | The unique identifier of the control to which the uploaded evidence will be mapped.                |
  | Creation Date         | Creation date of the evidence.                                                                     |
  | File Identifier       | The identifier of the file. You can create a file identifier using the `Set File Variable` action. |
  | Renewal Date          | Report renewal date.                                                                               |
  | Renewal Schedule Type | The renewal date schedule type of report.                                                          |
  | Workspace ID          | The Workspace ID associated to the Account.                                                        |
