# Update Alert Status

Update the status of an alert.

## Parameters

  | Parameter | Description                                                                                                                                                       |
  | --------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Alert ID  | The ID of the alert to update. Can be obtained from the `List Alerts` action under the `ClientDbId` key.                                                          |
  | Comment   | The comment to add to the alert.<br /><br />**Note:** Everytime the API is used, a comment is added to the alert with the timestamp the username and the comment. |
  | Status    | The new status of the alert.                                                                                                                                      |
