# Cyera

> Cyera is a cloud-native data security platform that helps organizations discover, classify, and secure sensitive data across their environments. The platform provides smart, intuitive data security that learns and adapts to protect data. Cyera’s platform effortlessly discovers, analyzes, and classifies data across the entire data landscape without agents or overhead.

### Using Client ID & Secret[​](#using-client-id--secret "Direct link to Using Client ID & Secret")

To create the connection you need:

* A Server
* A Client ID
* A Secret

#### Obtaining the credentials

1. In **Cyera**, go to Settings > API Tokens.
2. Click **Generate Token**.
3. Fill in the token's details and click **Create**, note that the details appear only once.
4. Copy the details and click **Done**.

#### Creating your connection[​](#creating-your-connection "Direct link to Creating your connection")

1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the **Connections** page > **Add connection**. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.

2. Select the **Cyera** icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.

3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.

4. Select **Client ID & Secret** as the method to create the connection.

5. Fill in the parameters:

   * The Server
   * The Client ID
   * The Secret

6. (Optional) Click **Test Connection** to test it.

7. Click **Create connection**. The new connection appears on the **Connections** page.
