# Add Account Group

Create a new account group to enable application managers to define and manage accounts as part of a group.

**Required Permissions for using this action**:

* `Add accounts`
* `Update account content`
* `Update account properties`
* `Create folders`

## Parameters

  | Parameter         | Description                                                                                                                                                 |
  | ----------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Group Name        | The name of the newly created group.                                                                                                                        |
  | Group Platform ID | The name of the platform of the group.<br /><br />**Note**: The associated platform must be **active** and set to `PolicyType=Group` OR `Rotational Group`. |
  | Safe              | The name of a CPM managed safe where the group will be created.                                                                                             |
