# Delete Rules

Delete rules from a rule group by ID.
The following permission is required to run this action:

* `Custom IOA rules`.

## Basic Parameters

  | -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Parent Rule Group ID | The parent rule group ID.                                                                                                                                                           |
  | Rules IDs            | A comma-separated list rules IDs to be deleted. You can find the rule ID in the [Custom IOA Rule Groups page](https://falcon.us-2.crowdstrike.com/configuration/custom-ioa-groups). |
  | User ID              | The user ID. You can find it in the [User Profile page](https://falcon.us-2.crowdstrike.com/support/profile).                                                                       |
