# Update Case

Update an existing business object record.

## Basic Parameters

  | Fields                    | The fields to change on the record, as a JSON array. ## Advanced Parameters

  | Parameter   | Description                                                                 |
  | ----------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Cache Key   | The key of the cache of a saved object.                                     |
  | Cache Scope | Select the scope of the `Cache Key`.                                        |
  | Language    | The culture code to localize the response with.                             |
  | Locale      | The locale to localize the response with.                                   |
  | Persist     | Select to save the record. When not selected, the record is only validated. |
