# GuardDuty Stop Monitoring Members

Stops GuardDuty monitoring for the specified member accounts. Use the `StartMonitoringMembers` operation to restart monitoring for those accounts.

## Basic Parameters

  | Parameter     | Description                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               |
  | ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | AWS Region(s) | Enter the desired AWS Region(s).<br /><br />To execute the action in multiple regions, provide a comma-separated list.<br />For example: `us-east-1,eu-west-2`.<br /><br />If you wish to run the action in all available regions, use the asterisk symbol (`*`) instead. |
  | Account IDs   | A comma-separated list of account IDs for the member accounts to stop monitoring.                                                                                                                                                                                         |
  | Detector ID   | The unique ID of the detector associated with the GuardDuty administrator account that is monitoring member accounts.                                                                                                                                                     |
