# GuardDuty Start Monitoring Members

Turns on GuardDuty monitoring of the specified member accounts. Use this operation to restart monitoring of accounts that you stopped monitoring with the `StopMonitoringMembers` operation.

## Basic Parameters

  | ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | AWS Region(s) | Enter the desired AWS Region(s).<br /><br />To execute the action in multiple regions, provide a comma-separated list.<br />For example: `us-east-1,eu-west-2`.<br /><br />If you wish to run the action in all available regions, use the asterisk symbol (`*`) instead. |
  | Account IDs   | A comma-separated list of account IDs of the GuardDuty member accounts to start monitoring.                                                                                                                                                                               |
  | Detector ID   | The unique ID of the detector of the GuardDuty administrator account associated with the member accounts to monitor.                                                                                                                                                      |
