# Update Investigation

Update an investigation by it's id.

## Basic Parameters

  | Parameter        | Description                                                                     |
  | ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Assignee         | The user ID of the investigation's assignee.                                    |
  | Classification   | The classification of the investigation.                                        |
  | Investigation ID | The ID of the investigation. Can be obtained by the List Investigations action. |
  | Priority         | The priority of the investigation.                                              |

  | Add Fields    | A comma-delimited list of optional fields to add to the default payload. See Agari's Fields Language for more information.    |
  | Fields        | Comma-delimited list of fields to include in the payload.                                                                     |
  | Remove Fields | A comma-delimited list of optional fields to remove to the default payload. See Agari's Fields Language for more information. |
  | State         | Set the state of the investigation.                                                                                           |
